The Beautiful and Damned was the last of Fitzgerald's novels that I read. And I apparently saved the best for last. Fitzgerald truly breaks his own mold on this terrific literary achievement. Not only he tells a wonderful story of two young lovers, but he also parallels it with a very strong supporting cast of characters. The commonly portrayed by the media rosy picture of the rich has been wonderfully redone with vibrant color, as Fitzgerald waves his "paint brush" through all the old misconceptions and into something truly brilliant - real life. Fitzgerald was indeed touched with brilliance, and never has it ever been more evident than in this wonderful novel. An absolute must read.

The power of Poe's dark vision is virtually unprecedented in world literature. The manifestation of deep, intuitive symbols and archetypes, ones of such clarity, prophesy and terror that even his incredible craftsmanship in language becomes transparant, is a gift given to only the most blessed and tormented of writers. To read a story like the Masque of the Red Death is to be flung into an allegorical morality play which fits perfectly into the modern context. Poe's stories and poems travel through time and rap ceaselessy on the window of your conscious thoughts. An ominous pall of expectation and retribution permeates all of his work.

"The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy" is a prophetic piece of literature, a novel so original in structure it almost defies genre. It is an unintentional masterpiece, the product of a writer who just wanted to have fun and entertain his readers and eventually entertained generations. This is not a book to rush through so that you can check it off on your lifetime reading plan. It's a deeply human and amazingly funny tale that needs to be savored. The novel is developed by its digressions and almost completely abandons linear plot structure. I have never laughed so much while reading a classic.

In May 2010 I used Mobi Travel Saint Petersburg ebook for a 10-day trip to St. Petersburg - a good test for relevance and comprehensiveness. I found it by far the most useful of the guides I looked at. A great amount of detail, color maps, lots of interesting background information, and thoroughly entertaining, as travel guides should be. It works perfect on my iPhone. Overall, this is an excellent guide. I strongly recommend this ebook.

The works of Andre Norton show the author's intermingling of science fiction and fantasy elements. The ability to move back and forth easily between the two genres is a trademark of the unsurpassed Ms. Norton. The readers enjoy her works that entertain yet leave the readers considering ethical principles. I'm a huge fan of Norton, and have read probably most of her published work. I strongly recommend this ebook!

Over the years, I have seen a great many Organic Chemistry study guides and none were as thorough and easy to understand as Mobi's. It isn't too introductory or too complex so it teaches you all that you need and also will serve as a reference later on. It has appropriate graphics. The text is clear, on the point, and very understandable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this ebook. It is much better than any other Organic Chemistry ebooks I've ever read. Any criticisms I have of this text are very minor, and it makes the subject both interesting and genuinely enjoyable.
