I am creative director for Power Communications LLC, which has been serving the Internet community for over a decade.
I've discovered a way to increase business for myself and my clients through a unique style of persuasion and motivational copywriting.
I'm also a speed reader, which helps in business.
Naturally I especially enjoy books about copywriting and marketing. I love books about advertising. But I also enjoy the classics. My favorite book is probably 'The Art of War' and my favorite translation to date is by Roger Ames.
I also enjoy reading about economics and history. I'm especially interested in laissez-faire capitalism, Ayn Rand, Objectivism and Austrian economics.
I collect fountain pens and sell books for a hobby. I also collect vintage ads and vintage Fortune magazines. I also collect vintage bodybuilding and fitness magazines. I'm into the martial arts, fitness and exercise. I enjoy reading about Bruce Lee, his life and his techniques.
I am especially interested in the study of the twenties and thirties in America, The Great Depression and Mob history.
I often get advance copies of books to review, which I enjoy. I've written reviews for a number of years. If you are a publisher, feel free to submit pre-publication material to me and a request to have a book reviewed. I'll be happy to consider it.
Publishers and authors are welcome to email me and request a review. I also review products. Books I especially have an interest in reviewing include investing, money, economics, copywriting and advertising, business and business history, fitness and similar topics. I also have a keen interest in reviewing books about history, especially World War 11 and some World War 1 books.
I read a lot. I don't review every book I read. But I try and review as many as I can.
I don't often review political books. When I do, I don't express my own political views. I read books with which I disagree and political views with which I disagree. But in my reviews, I attempt to simply evaluate the book as objectively as possible, without editorial comment.

I got this mostly for a quick but effective workout for my core. I didn't know if I'd get it on this DVD but very pleased because I do. The exercises, while effective, are safe. There are no crunches as we know them. And you'll feel how effective the workout is when you're finished. It uses dynamic tension and isometrics, which I like very much. The other workouts are equally as good. If you do 10 minutes of exercise three times a day, you're getting what you need. And making this DVD part of your day or your week will give you a big boost. The instructor isn't a celeb trainer so she's very basic. But she does give good, clear instructions and there's nothing to… Read more

I wanted a water bottle to keep in the fridge and to carry with me in the car and on the bike. I bought the 20 oz size, which is perfect for me. One of the reasons I selected this bottle is because of the measurement tracking on the bottle. I like to make sure I drink a certain amount of liquid daily and this helps me accomplish that. The video review shows a bottle that's pliable. Mine is not. It is a hard plastic. It's easy to wash. Easy to open and close. I've thus far had no leaking or problems of any sort. And, along with an app on my iPod, I can track my water by using this bottle. Since it has no BPA, I feel it's safe to drink from. I put filtered water in it… Read more

I didn't expect much from this. I only wanted a simple decaf green tea for everyday drinking. And I wanted CO2 decaf. The price is good so I bought this. I'm sure glad I did! I make my tea by simply putting the tea in a pitcher, adding cold water and letting it sit in the fridge overnight. I don't like to get the bad stuff from the plastic that hot water gives you. Also, this is quicker. Anyway, I put six scoops of tea in the pitcher and added water. Next morning I had a glass and noticed it was richer looking than my previous tea. Then I tasted it. It's rich as it can be. It has a delightful, rich and slightly smokey taste that is just right. It makes drinking healthy… Read more

The Second World War is of keen interest to many people. Since Hitler was more or less the cause of that war, a deep study of him is critical to the World War 11 history buff. These are a few of my favorites. They're written well and great to read.
I love the classics. I often re-read them yearly. True classics are always good. No, they're great. Very few books written today compare to the classics.
