5.0 out of 5 stars A must for Eurodisco lovers, April 24, 2013
This two disc compilation features many of Arabesque's hit singles from 1977 to 1983 such as "Hello Mr. Monkey", "Friday Night", "Rock Me After Midnight", "Once In A Blue Moon", "Why No Reply", "Peppermint Jack", "Fly High Butterfly", among others. I enjoy the songs very much which consists of a mix of mainly Eurodisco songs with Pop songs. Recommended!
Reservations for Two ~ Dionne Warwick
Reservations for Two ~ Dionne Warwick
The album "Reservations for Two" is one of the best modern Pop albums I have heard! The album from a production wise is Pop, Adult Contemporary and Smooth Jazz. Sophisticated and sentimental songs benefit greatly from Dionne's keen lyrical interpretation. The excellent production suits Dionne's voice very well! All the duets are effective including the hit singles "Love Power" with Jeffrey Osborne and albums' title track with Kashif. Dionne's Pop version of "No One In The World" later a major hit for Anita Baker, is fabulous! The self empowering message behind "In a World Such As This" adds to enjoyment of this song. A consistent, enjoyable album that is highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Friends Can Be Lovers, February 24, 2013
Two decades after this albums' release, it still sounds as vibrant, fresh and sophisticated as it did when it was originally released. Dionne successfully expanded on her sound with this album. There are Pop songs expertly performed in Dionne's unique way such as "I Sing At Dawn" and "Sunny Weather Lover" (the albums' first single). There are also lush ballads "Love Will Find A Way" with the late Whitney Houston) and a cover of Sting's hit song "Fragile", classy Funk-Soul songs such as "Much Too Much", "Till The End Of Time" and the title track as well as the sensual slow jam "Where My Lips Have Been". Overall, the album as a whole has… Read more
