This Ordinary Thursday - The Songs of Georgia Stit&hellip ~ Kelli O'Hara
5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect showcase..., January 15, 2009
A very talented composer, add to that a lineup of some of Broadway's best vocalists and you get this perfect debut album.

The songs are personal, intelligent and captivating. Her lyrics clever and inspired.

My favorites are Lauren Kennedy's "I Lay My Armor Down," Matthew Morrison's "One Day More," Jenn Colella's "Big Wings," Faith Prince's "I Get To Show You The Ocean."

The album is not at all tedious or monotonous, each song is distinct.

Another remarkable song is This Ordinary Thursday (sung by Susan Egan), a song about her husband Jason Robert Brown.

Actually, I loved every song, it's impossible to choose just one and each performer… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Innovative, but not first-rate, October 13, 2008
I like the sleekness and the design, as well as the large LCD. It has been a hit with friends because of the innovative touch screen technology. But I have to agree with the others about the sensitivity of the touch screen. It lacks consistency.

The pictures I took of landscapes are not bad. The colors and details are sharp. I'm not so crazy about portraits and anything taken indoor. Comes off grainy. Quality and the sound of videos are not remarkable. It's just like any other digital cameras.

I would love to have a tangible zoom button.

So if you're going for dazzle and functionality, you might as well get the Sony DSC-T77 or T700.
2008/2009 Achieve Student Day Planner by Action Publishing
4.0 out of 5 stars Almost there, October 6, 2008
The contents in itself is pretty good. There is plenty enough space to write your tasks on for that weekday. I wish there was more space to write on Sat & Sunday. For online/home schooled high school students like myself, we do a lot more work on the weekends. I also would like notes section after the end of each month. Just a couple of lined pages will do. I liked reading the little study tips and the weekly vocab. And the academic reference at the back is very useful. I always use the maps & the periodic table. What I don't like about the planner is that it tears easily. A hardcover will do wonders. But then again it is one the best student planners I've ever owned.
