Helos

Of course I enjoy reading a good entertaining book. A few that stand out are Steinbeck's "In Dubious Battle," and "The Grapes of Wrath", Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea," Puzo's "The Godfather," and "Working" by Studs Terkel. Watching a great movie. Movies that stand out to me are "Casablanca," "Treasure of the Sierra Madre," "Amadeus," "Gone with the Wind," "Pride of the Yankees", the original "Postman Always Rings Twice" with John Garfield and Lana Turner, "Double Indemnity" and two movies made out of books I already mentioned, "The Godfather," and "The Grapes of Wrath." The acting and storyline in these movies is so superb it literally keeps you excited and on your toes in suspense from beginning to end. Of course I enjoy writing. I believe writing is a communication of one's spirit. Finally I very much enjoy traveling, having traveled to Japan, Mexico, Hawaii (My favorite place), Eastern Europe, and all over this great United States. The only place I have not visited in the US is the Northwest and Alaska which I plan to do in the near future.
