As an avid strategy gamer, I was anticipating Spore's release...
Then I found out about the DRM.
I will not pay a game company to install malware on my computer. I will not buy a game that I cannot reinstall a few years down the line when I have upgraded my computer multiple times. I will not support a company that uses illegal copy protection methods that have been proven to cause a lot of technical problems for its customers.
It's really too bad. Spore looks like a pretty interesting game. Hopefully it will be available in the future without the intrusive and insulting "security" measures.
