Excellent tool, but protect your hands from slivers, May 17, 2013

So far I've used this tool on several hundred cases: .380, .45, .38 special, and .308. I've read the other reviews and I had my concerns when I bought the tool. Here is what I found. You should make sure that you wear some type of latex or nitrile gloves. It isn't so much to save you from blisters but to protect your fingers from getting brass slivers in them and to keep a good grip on the cartriges. The bit in my tool never slipped at all. The collar does not slide up and down easily on the shaft so you don't have to worry about it slipping once you tighten the set screw. The bit is sharp and does it's job well. It's simple sturdy and exactly as advertised, April 11, 2013

RCBS in general has a reputation for making equipment that lasts a lifetime and beyond. You can look at this and the Rock Chucker presses and see why. This powder measure/piggyback stand has an excellent finish to it. The metal appears to be high quality and will probably be given to our son if he follows in our footsteps. The powder measure fits into the stand perfectly and the stand comes with the nut to secure the powder measure in the stand.
We strongly recommend RCBS equipment for it's quality and support.

My husband and I have started shooting enough to reload. We purchased this model because: a) It's less expensive than the RCBS Sidewinder tumbler. b) It qualifies for the Bucks or Bullets rebate sponsored by RCBS.
So far it is well built, the bowl is hard plastic and thick. There were no cracks in it and no reason for us to think it may crack anytime soon.
