What's Amazon.com's return policy?

Our return policies vary depending on the type of item you'd like to return. For more details about our policies, go to About Our Returns Policies.

Does Amazon.com have an extended return policy for the holidays?

Yes. Items shipped by Amazon.com between November 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012, may be returned until January 31, 2013, for a full refund, subject to our other return guidelines listed. For more information, go to About Our Returns Policies.

Items shipped from sellers other than Amazon.com are subject to the Product Return Policies unless otherwise stated in their Return Policy. They may not accept returns past the normal return window established in their Return Policy. For more details, go to About Our Returns Policies.

If you're a gift recipient that needs to make a return, go to Online Returns Center to get a mailing label to return your item.

Note: Return shipping may be deducted from the amount of your refund if the reason for your return is not the result of Amazon error.

How do I return an item shipped by a seller?

If you need to return an item that was shipped by a seller, go to our Online Returns Center to submit a return request. For more details, go to About Our Returns Policies.

I've returned my item. How soon will I receive my refund?

If you selected to receive an instant Amazon.com Gift Card refund, then a credit was instantly added to your Amazon.com Gift Card balance for use on your next order.

If you selected to receive an instant refund to your credit card, then a refund was instantly requested and will show on your credit card statement within 3 business days.

If you are returning the item for a refund to your original payment method, you should receive your refund within 2 weeks of the carrier having received your item.

If you shipped the item back to Amazon at your own expense, and the return is the result of an Amazon error, you will be refunded your shipping costs when we process the return. To prevent having to pay for the return yourself, go to our Online Return Center to receive a pre-paid label.

You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
