From Library Journal
The authors ( Inside the League ) have chosen five areas of conflict to show through interviews the devastating effect of war on civilians of both sides. From the stories out of Ulster, El Salvador, Uganda, Sri Lanka, and Palestine, it is obvious that ideology is not a cause of the conflicts, but fair access to land and political rights are. Those fleeing the war zonesunwelcome everywhereare doomed to subsistence in refugee camps. The interviews show that those committed to terrorism are unlikely to cease soon, but the book takes too long to convince us. For large collections only.
